    The Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting allows you to master complex accounting tasks and qualify for senior finance roles, as well as AAT full membership. Students will gain competencies in drafting financial statements for limited companies, recommending accounting systems strategies and constructing and presenting complex management accounting reports.

    This qualification covers complex accounting and finance topics and tasks leading to students becoming confident with a wide range of financial management skills and applications.

    Here are the mandatory units for the course:

    • Applied Management Accounting
    • Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements
    • Internal Accounting Systems and Controls

    Funding

    You can either pay in full, or pay this course in three instalments.

    This course will start on Thursday 14th September (9.15-16.00)

  • Equipment Required

    Although course textbooks are available in the College library, you may wish to buy a textbook (following consultation with your tutor). You may also wish to purchase a set of course workbooks which will help you with your studies. These may be purchased through the College at a 40% discounted fee. Your tutor will discuss workbooks with you at the start of your course.

    A calculator will also be desirable and you will need to bring the following to the first session:

    • pen
    • paper
    • folder to store printouts.
  • Entry Requirements

    AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting or a L3 Accounting qualification from another awarding body. You should have GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or an equivalent qualification. Applicants without these qualifications but sufficient life /work experience will need to complete an AAT skills test to assess their eligibility. The ability to word process under time constraints is also essential.
